Although our impact on biodiversity is low, we aim to understand how our value chain activities impact biodiversity and minimise the environmental and visual impact of our infrastructure. Outside of managing our impact, we work with conservation agencies to explore how technology can minimise biodiversity loss.

Supporting reforestation efforts and Protecting Wildlife

We have various initiatives to support reforestation efforts such as the tree planting initiative in Tanzania, and the sustainable urban greening and forest restoration project in Lesotho. Our efforts to promote clean cooking in DRC have also helped minimise deforestation in the area.

Additionally, we help develop solutions to help protect endangered wildlife such as the Dunia app and also invest in rehabilitation for birds and owls disturbed by our operations.
